Max Haas worked hard to become a respected DJ, producer and owner of HAAS Records while helping other artists along the way. His move from Buenos Aires to Barcelona in 2019 has taken him to the next step as he joins the PIV crew.
Buenos Aires’ vibrant scene is where Max Haas got his first impressions of music with big DJ’s visiting every week. He took his first steps as a DJ and producer in 2009. Max soon became a regular at local clubs such as Pacha, Pueblo Limite, Crobar, Bahrein and played Sonar, Mutek Festival. By 2016 was touring the US followed by Europe the next years playing in venues like Thuishaven, elrow, La terraza, Pacha, City Hall, The end, just to name a few.
HAAS Records was launched in 2018 as a platform to showcase the deep minimal house sound that Max had gravitated towards. The label released artists such as Julenn, Lee Onel, Mateo Dufour, TwoSlice and Retromigration alongside Max’s own work. Other imprints started taking notice and Max Haas releases followed on PIV, EWax, Surge, Handcrafted, among others.
Having found his true identity, Max started sharing stages with the likes of Enzo Siragusa, Dubfire, Davide Squillace, Lazare Hoche, Chris Stussy and Prunk.
